Ferrals les Corbières
Mathieu and Xavier are two brothers in the fourth generation of winemakers. In the mid-90's, when the brother's took over, they began the conversion to organic and biodynamic practices. Instead of making grapes for a co-op like their forebears, they bottled under the family name and began their journey to produce the most unadulterated wines the terroir could produce. With help from some 100-year-old vines, they've gotten better and better at doing just that. They currently work 19+ hectares of land.

Vdf "Roug'e Clair" 2021
VARIETY : Mourvèdre, Carignan
TERROIR : Wind-eroded sand and clay soils.
HARVEST : hand picked
VINIFICATION : Co-fermented and co-macerated for less than a day before pressing and a short élevage in fiberglass.
Vdf “La Mariole” 2021
VARIETY : Carignan + a touch of Marselan
TERROIR : From a parcelle named “La Mariole”, planted in 1901 with some co-planted Marselan. Sandstone, clay-limestone soil.
HARVEST : hand picked
VINIFICATION : Destemmed.
Soft and slow pressing + maceration approx 10 days in vat. Aged on lees.

VARIETY : 90% Carignan / 10% Marselan
TERROIR : Three parcels of Carignan, named “La Mariole”, planted between 1880 and 1980. Sandstone, clay-limestone soil. The marselan is co-planted.
HARVEST : hand picked
VINIFICATION :
Destemmed.
Maceration for approximately 10 days.
Aged in fiberglass and concrete.
Unfined, unfiltered
