Spring Rosé

Dearest Everyone,

Happily, spring sprung this weekend and with it comes our next collaboration with the great photographic genius, Timothy Saccenti, with whom we are very proud indeed. Please follow us on Instagram for more of his 1950s utopia, pictured here.

And what better bottle to beget spring but a tried and true jewel of southern French rosé, Bascule's Syrah rosé, Babushka. Woah. With global shipping in complete disarray, rosé season has been a bit stalled, but luckily we've got some 2019 bottles left that have benefited greatly from a year of rest.

Bascule is a project started by our partner, Fifi, in collaboration with Domaine Leonine in the French Catalan country of the Roussillon. If you know anything about Domaine Leonine, it's probably from drinking his world famous Que Pasa? rosé from Syrah - a wine that has delighted the hearts of picnicers, gluggers, and snobs for a natural wine generation (~5 years). Why isn't there more of this incredible wine?, Fifi thought to himself touring the vineyards of the Roussillon. The question begat the solution and Babushka was in the works. Named after Fifi's affectionate distinction for his lovely daughter, Maya (who designed the label), Babushka is 100% Syrah rosé made at Domaine Leonine in the style of Que Pasa?. All the fruit comes from organic vineyards, with no additions in the cellar. Please enjoy and have a great week
